At Charango with Monique we work with contemporary charango players and composers, engaging with repertoire largely written over the past 40 years. By learning modern works within their proper cultural context, students are encouraged to compose, improvise, and cultivate a musical voice that is both personal and respectful of the instrument’s roots.
